Welcome to the Department of Musicology

At the Department of Musicology, we teach and conduct research on music from all times and cultures. We run courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and also have a number of postgraduate research students. At undergraduate level we offer Musicology A, B and C along with courses in music theory, sound production and choral conducting. We also offer a large number of Internet based distance leaning courses, which can be taken from anywhere in the world.

On taught postgraduate level we participate in Master Programme in the Humanities, 120 ECTS credits, offering supervision for a degree project in musicology, along with various taught modules.

For more information about our course selection, please visit our Education pages, or refer to the course catalogue.
